About this list

For children who are busy on school days, Saturday is when much Bucharest chess teaching happens. Three centres of the Academia de Șah teach groups by level on Saturday mornings: the main centre on Strada Educației near Ștefan cel Mare in Sector 2, the Ozana centre in Sector 3 and the Cotroceni centre in Sector 5. The main centre also has a group on Sunday.

The Mihail Marin club in Sector 6 includes Saturday in its weekly calendar of groups for beginners, intermediate players and a performance group; its page prints start times without tying them to a level, so the club can say which one suits. The Piața Domenii centre of the academy keeps to weekdays. Hours change with the school term, and each centre’s page has the current table.
