Chess lessons, academies and club groups in Bucharest 18

Teaching in Bucharest is organised mostly for children, in groups by level that follow the school year. The Academia de Șah, run by the Oxygen club, has four centres, on Strada Educației in Sector 2, at Piața Domenii in Sector 1, at Ozana in Sector 3 and in Cotroceni in Sector 5, each with its own weekly timetable on the academy site. The school of the university chess club teaches on Calea Șerban Vodă and at three other seats, and Chess Architect runs its groups online on weekday evenings.

Several clubs keep groups of their own: The Square for adults and children in Sector 2, the Mihail Marin club from Monday to Saturday in Sector 6, Chess Station in Sector 4, Șah Puf Junior in Otopeni and CS Oxigen in Sector 2. Fees, where a page prints them, are on each card. Under the name Șah în Școală, chess events are held in offices, parks and public buildings.
