The club's own site presents it as the public sports club of Sector 2, set up by a local council decision of 26 May 2026, with an active chess section (beginners from age 5, groups by level). A news item dated 8 September 2026 reports 22 medals, 7 of them titles, at the national junior and youth team championships in Mamaia (31 August to 6 September 2026). The section page says its group timetable, hall and coaches are given on that page, and none is printed there yet. The site names Academia de Șah as the section's partner. The federation register lists this club as "CS OXIGEN BUCURESTI", with a registration number of its own, apart from "ACS OXYGEN", the association behind the Academia de Șah, which has a different registration number; no page says the two are one organisation.
